What is everybody else doing right now?

Before Twitter and Facebook, there were moblogs where people could tell others what they were up to by posting mobile phone photos. Moblogs developed into photo sharing sites and in some cases online communities. This talk will inquire into the specificity of this kind of communication and try to answer the question: What means do mobloggers use in order to attract visitors? A keen eye for small events in everyday life in combination with a sense for catchy captions and storytelling are the moblogger’s greatest assets, as will be illustrated by several examples.
